The battle line has been drawn for top Nollywood actresses, Omotola Ekeinde Jalade, Mercy Johnson, Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo and Omoni Oboli as they all fight to win the maiden edition of Nollywood Movies Awards (NMA) in best Actress category.
Nominees for NMA were unveiled at a press conference in Lagos last week Friday.
Van Vicker would have beat Ramsey Nuoah, Joseph Benjamin, Charles Okafor and Trybson Dudukoko to win the Best Actor prize.
The nomination party will take place at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos this Saturday May 5 while the main awards ceremony holds on Saturday June 2, 2012 at the Civic Centre in Lagos.

Apparition is a wonderful movie. Costuming was perfect.
The return of jennifer is another excellent movie. Funke worked very hard on that movie. It was very educative and hillarious.

@ the looking at things Mercy j. is way good actress, she is there for every role, even if the scripts is not that encouraging she made it look very excellent......laughing, and also really touching.......wow! despite her wahalas all over the papers, we should nt look at that part oh....the reality is! in her acting part, she is real born with it...........if they should put Genevieve, Mercy, Omosexy and Rita Dominic together in a role, see Mercy J. will beat all of them . Their time has passed....even Omotula Ekende is old now.....have nt you heard that, now Omosexy`s daughter is fighting to become a model and going for audition to be actress like her mother.........
