According to the reports,around 2am on thursday september 8,2011, Mr Adibua walked into the radio station and began to batter his own member of staff!
Dewunmi is a Naija FM 102.7 news editor who works on a night shift. Olisa Adibua at the time was the programme director of Naija FM and of the Beat 99.9, as well as a morning host on the Morning Drive with Oreka!
Mr Adibua is said to have battered his subordinate with a brick whilst Dewunmi was asleep!
.....and now reports reaching me state that the battered young man, is not pressing charges and the Olisa Adibua guy who beat him up has threatened to sue any person/paper who writes about it....really?well i am calling his bluff!
This is so sick and there is everything wrong with this behaviour.this is the problem wrong with Nigeria,people who are supposed to cry out keep quiet and the guilty ones get away.
Was this guy battered because he fell alseep on the job?what could have been his crime?why didnt Olisa just sack him instead of this act of domestic voilence.?
He should sue me,but first explain why he battered this young man!...this is a sick behaviour and it should not be swept under the carpet.
Olisa Adibua is a role model and up until this battery i respected him a lot.
