However, the song’s title has been subject of debate ever since its release. Many critics point out that it displays arrogance and ingratitude.

Yet the artist, in an interview with Sunday Scoop revealed the meaning of the song which has been trending on tiktok and some other platforms.

According to the singer, ‘Buga’ means to ‘show off’ celebration after hardwork, dedication and success.

He opined that one should let the results of his/her hardwork speak loudly, that’s where the song comes to play.

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe better known as Kizz Daniel, has achieved a mean feat with his newly released song, Buga.

His recent achievement sees Buga which features Tekno emerging the Most Shazamed song in the world.

The music platform made the announcement via its official Twitter account on May 19, 2022.

It also congratulated Kizz Daniel on the new milestone which has been achieved by only a few African acts.
