It's your own responsibility. Don't wait for someone to give you something to do. We're all talented with something (within the boudaries of the law and morality, of course!): braiding hair, cooking, sewing, painting, drawing, selling stuff, writing, studying, talking, singing, etc...Find your own way and remember that money is never the reason why you do or don't do something. If you bump into a wall, turn around and find the right way.Date: Sun, 27 Mar 2010 13:06:00
Racism is everywhere. Your colour, religion or creed are a barrier if you make them to be, they are just an excuse. Even in your own country and sometimes in your own family, you are the victim of some discrimination of some kind, tribalism or favouritism. Tell the people at home what it is you're facing here and be honest about it. With them and with yourself.
Like Bob Marley said:" When one door is closed, many more is open!"
